As both the stage of 2010 FORMULA 1 KOREA GRANDPRIX and the one and only
international standard racing track in Korea, Korea International Circuit has launched its
official Brand Identity(BI) which demonstrates the dynamic image of motor sports as well
as Korea's traditional style and grace.


The BI, whose theme is 'The Passion and Energy of Racing on the Endlessly Outstretching
Circuit', has gained reputation as a world-class design by blending the traditional
Taegeuk mark and the vigorousness of Motor Sports together with outstanding modern
flavor.


The swirling Taegeuk mark sufficiently visualizes the circuit as the pivot of technology,
industry, people and trend. Furthermore, the shape of the tight bend of the circuit and
the fluttering checkered flag embodies the vivacity of motor sports.


The BI maximizes visual impact by using the color red, the symbol of passion and energy
which motorsports release, and perspective which manifests the intense speed of Motor
Sports.


The BI is expected to be the representative sysmbol of the motorsports of Korea by being
exposed to the motorsports fans in and outside the country through various MD
products and international events including the 2010 KOREAN GRAND PRIX.


2010 FORMULA 1 KOREA GRANDPRIX의 무대이자 한국에서 유일한 국제 표준 레이싱 트랙인 코리아 인터내셔널 서킷(Korea International Circuit)이 역동적인 모터 스포츠의 이미지와 한국의 전통적인 스타일과 우아함을 보여주는 공식 브랜드 아이덴티티(BI)를 출시하였습니다. '끝없이 펼쳐진 서킷 위에서 펼쳐지는 열정과 에너지'를 테마로 한 이 BI는 전통적인 태극 문양과 모터 스포츠의 활력을 탁월한 현대적 감각과 결합하여 세계적인 수준의 디자인으로 평가받고 있습니다. 회오리치는 태극 문양은 서킷을 기술, 산업, 사람, 그리고 트렌드의 중심으로 시각화하고 있으며, 서킷의 급커브와 휘날리는 체커드 깃발의 형태는 모터 스포츠의 생동감을 구현합니다. BI는 열정과 에너지의 상징인 빨간색과 모터 스포츠의 강렬한 속도를 드러내는 원근법을 사용하여 시각적 충격을 극대화합니다. 이 BI는 다양한 MD 제품과 2010 KOREAN GRAND PRIX를 포함한 국제 행사들을 통해 국내외 모터 스포츠 팬들에게 노출됨으로써 한국 모터 스포츠의 대표 상징이 될 것으로 기대됩니다.
